How are Waterloov Gutter Guards Sold?
The products are sold direct to you, our installing dealer, you call the office, place the order, and its often time shipped out the same day by UPS. It arrives in one box (enough to do a house) 150 linear feet, it's very easy to deal with we’re a very easy company with wich to do business.

What are the Advantages to Working with the Waterloov Company?
The advantage Waterloov has over our competition is:

Is There Anything Like In-house Graphics Support?
Yes,  in-house graphics support is available to provide our dealers with top quality product literature, ad slicks and even help our dealers design some of their own quality materials to promote their own business inexpensively, such as letter heads, business cards, logos and the like.

How About Printed Brochures?
Because we have our own in-house print shop, we can supply our dealers low priced high quality brochures imprinted with their name. If desired, door knockers, referral bucks, quote and contract forms, estimate forms, business cards and so on can be produced as well.

How is Training Done?
Unless other arrangements are made, the trainee comes to our location in Red Bank, NJ and works right along with our installation crew. Marketing and sales training are likewise done at headquarters in Red Bank, NJ. .

Is There a  Co-op Advertising Programs?
Waterloov  has one of the best advertising programs in the business. Whereas a lot of companies say, "we have a great program, we cover 100%. If you look at it, its limited to maybe $100. What good is $100 yearly limit?. Our program is unlimited in the amount you  get back over the course of a year. Program is only available to authorized, certified dealers who have purchased marketing and advertising rights to a Primary Marketing Territory. 

What are your Small Business Opportunities?
There are several options to purchase and deal direct with Waterloov::

1. Purchase job-by-job as an independent contractor (so long as your territory is not licensed or assigned to an exclusive distributor) with no commitments or minimums. However, there are no advertising or marketing rights associated with this level of opportunity. No minimum purchase and no licensing fees are required. 2. As a Limited Dealer where your are, for example, the only roofer that can represent and sell Waterloov in a specific geographical area to your own customers. This option is only available where an exclusive distributor does not exist. No advertising rights or marketing rights are granted. In the event an exclusive distributor exists, you must deal direct with the exclusive distributor. Click here to go to the Limited Dealership Agreement. At some point to effect or maintain the Limited Dealership a licensing fee is required.

3  As a dealer with primary marketing and advertising rights, you enjoy co-op advertising opportunities. As long as you purchase your minimum guaranteed inventory per year you have the primary rights to market and advertise the Waterloov trade name in a specific geographical territory. You purchase direct from Waterloov unless Exclusive Distribution rights have been assigned for the geographical area to another entity. Click here to go to Preliminary Dealer Agreement and Application. An initial purchase of 5 boxes of product is required to begin your dealership. At some point to fully effect all benefits of Primary Marketing Rights a license fee will be required.

This option takes 90% of the guess work out of how to market, advertise, and run the business with unskilled personnel for both sales and marketing. It is complete with a startup package containing everything down to business forms, business cards, sales aids, models, etc. and enough inventory to recoup nearly half of the initial total investment.  It also includes also a  two week installation training course broken into two one week intervals, and a week of sales and marketing training broken into two and three day segments. 

This turn-key option is based on the retail sales methods we've used at our Red Bank, NJ retail installation division since 1989 which utilizes just one full time installer and two part time sales people (one doubling as manager).

As a licensed dealer with primary marketing or exclusive distribution rights you'll have a business that once you develop it, will have a cash or resale value, commensurate with your efforts, which can be sold and transferred to a new owner.

What Would my Competitive Position be in the Market Place?
All other gutter protection manufacturers only manufacture one product and are a bit limited. Waterloov is the only company that manufactures a full line of gutter guards. If a customer, needs the best, we have the best--Waterloov. Nothing in the world will outperform this product. But say you have a customer who maybe doesn't need the best. We have the Care-Free vinyl and aluminum products. These products are superior to all our competition in how they perform with respect to handling water and debris. As a dealer, you should never loose a quotation to another product because you have a full range from the bottom to the top, price wise, product wise, and performance wise at your disposal.                                                                                 Return to Questions

What are the Advantages of Representing More than One Product?
Representing more than one product enables you to be an independent agent instead of having to say to your customer, "I'm sorry, this is the only one you can have." Instead you can represent a full line of products. You are literally working for you customer instead of for one particular product. When you're working for your customer you can make recommendations, "In the back of your home you have a heavy debris situation and there's nothing I'd recommend other than (Waterloov). However, in the front of your home I can save you a lot of money with a lesser product. We can get away with using one of the Care-Free products and save you a lot of money." This gives your customer options. And with these options, our experience is that 99% of customers opt to put Waterloov on all the way around as opposed to doing a little bit with this product and a little bit of that product. They like consistency and quality. If, on the other hand, money is an issue, you have another product to serve them as well and you still made a sale.
