| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE COLORS FOR CONTEMPORARY DESIGN IN GUTTER PROTECTION Red Bank, New Jersey (8/99) -- Waterloov® makes it possible for homeowners to coordinate their gutters and gutter protection with the colors on their house. The availability of teal gutters and teal Waterloov ® gutter protection made it possible for one of our customers to have the color scheme they really wanted.Mr. and Mrs. Bartoli purchased their home at 40 Hubbard Park, along the Navesink River, in Red Bank, NJ, in 1995 and began a four-year remodeling adventure. The art-deco color scheme of the 50s did little for their home in the 90s. Their first change was dictated by a deteriorating roof. They took three small dormers and combined them into one spacious area. From there on it was a transformation from one period of history to another. The light green siding and white trim of the 50s were replaced with new, Nantucket-style cedar shingles with teal and red trim to showcase the waterfront home. Gutters, and whether they could ever have gutter protection, was an unknown. What off-shade color gutters would they have to settle with and would they ever be able to find a gutter cover that didnt look like a Renaissance helmet, both of which would detract from the color scheme? The availability of teal gutters and teal Waterloov® gutter protection made it possible to complete the color scheme and, at the same time, provide maintenance-free guttering with the blending decorative truncated louver of the Waterloov® gutter protector. Waterloov is available in a wide range of custom colors, in addition to our four standard colors -- white, royal brown, cream, and bronze -- and is made of .024" (minimum thickness) aluminum with a 20-year warranty on the painted finish against cracking or peeling. Richard Kuhns, president and founder of the company says, "we have taken Waterloov beyond the standard slap on something close in color approach to gutter protection to pleasing the homeowner with design in mind." Custom designer colors include blue, forest green, territone, light and dark gray, ivory, eggshell, wicker, sandcastle, muskett brown, black, teal, red, rolex, and so on, as well as copper. Homeowners such as the Bartolis can choose a color to match the gutter, which features the decorativeness of the product. Overall, "how well the system looks is as important to us as how well the system functions," says Mr. Kuhns. According to Mr. & Mrs. Bartoli, "Friends of ours, who have Waterloov® on their home for some time now, told us to invest in Waterloov ® -- no muss, no fuss, and best of all... no more gutter cleaning. Only in our dreams did we think we could match the trim on our house, but our teal gutters and teal gutter protection system blend perfectly, and installation was hassle-free -- we couldnt have planned it better!"
